Young Haitian Youth Orphan 3

This picture was taken from my husband when he went to visit an orphanage in Haiti. The young man is named Boni and grew up as a Haitian orphan on the streets and in very dangerous places the majority of his life – if not all of it.

He was very downcast at the time of the picture as he is always hopeful to find a sponsor to help him go to school, but his hope seems to fail with each passing year. He has given me permission to use his photo. Perhaps someone may desire to find out more about him and want to help – he’s willing to work, just needs the opportunity. The following is his facebook page. He speaks some English, a bit broken, but enough to mostly understand.
